The Cat Who Could Read Backwards: A Review

Published by pinkink at 9:23 pm under cats Edit This

Do you like to read? I love reading, and I recently discovered a whole series of fiction books with cats as significant characters. The series is the Cat Who series by Lilian Braun.

I recommend that you start with the book, “The Cat Who Could Read Backwards”. The book is about a news reporter, Jim Quilleran, who moves to a new city and lands a job at the Daily Fluxion as a feature writer on the art scene. George Bonifield Mountclemens is the paper’s art critic who writes particularly nasty and mean-spirited reviews of most of the artists in town.

Mountclemens offers Quilleran an apartment for a very low price, and Quilleran snaps it up. Quilleran gets to know Mountclemens cat, Koko, a Siamese who seems to know everything.

As the story progresses, two murders occur, and Quilleran with teh help of Koko works to solve them.

I really enjoyed this book, so if you’re looking for a good read, I definitely recommend giving this book a read. I will review other books in the Cat Who series as I read them.

Have you read any of the books in the Cat Who series? If so, what did you think of them? Please tell me in the comments section below.
